Pecan Orange Marmalade

If you are from the South, you know a good potluck always has someone bringing hello dollies! These are a twist on that classic southern staple but are dairy free, gluten free and just, well, delicious! :)

Ingredients

  • 1 long baguette, sliced
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • goat cheese log, softened
  • orange marmalade or jam of your choice
  • Newberry Pecans halves

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Brush baguette slices with olive oil. Lightly salt. 
  4. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes. 
  5. Turn baguette slices over and bake to desired crispness for about another 5 minutes.
  6. Spread a generous amount of goat cheese on baguette slice and dollop with ½ tsp. of orange marmalade. 
  7. Press a pecan half firmly in the center.
  8. Serve immediately.
